Founded in 2021, Payment Haven is headed by two fourth year students at Carleton University.

With inclusion as the goal in mind, Payment Haven is an online service which exists to allow its customers the ability to purchase products via installments rather than at full and up-front. 

Using the Buy Now Pay Later method (BNPL), Payment Haven differs from it's competitors because there is no interest charged to the consumer. With the partnerships Payment Haven has and looks to find, revenues will be made through a $1 transaction fee to the partnering stores/brands. In addition, Payment Haven will also be payed 1.5% of the total sale. 

Payment Haven plans to offer a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, and/or 12 month payment plan which will be dependent on the financial ability and the total amount of the transaction made by the customer. Payment Haven will have a minimum payment value of $100CAD and a maximum payment limit of $10,000CAD.
